Good evening, I have a 1959 730d with the pony motor and my combination/ignition switch is broken, I cannot seem to find a replacement 6v switch but can find the switch for the electric start 730d which I think is 12 or 24v, will one of those switches work as a replacement or will I have to rig something else up to get it to start? Thanks for your help. -william |

| The 24V switch is different.
Have a look here...

This is the parts catalog from Deere site. It might help you figure some of this out. Not sure if Deere has a wiring diagram on their site or not but it shows some wiring in this parts book.
AR 21162 R is 6V 730 with a pony motor for both 2 and 4 headlamp tractors.
AR 20234 R is 24V 730 with 2 lights
AR 20444 R is 24V with 4 headlights |

| Before you buy a new switch take the old one apart and clean the contacts. Pretty simple to do. |
