This track-hoe is coming up at an auction, i was wondering how good of a machine they are? it is diesel, i don't know how long it has been siting or if the engine is stuck or not? I also do not know the condition of the tracks / undercarriage?. I am going to call the auctioneer and see if he knows anything about it.
I was wondering what something like this would be worth? I'm not really interested in restoring but just using it "AS IS".
Also what would the lifting capacity be for the loader?
This is the only picture i have
Thanks for any info

| Thanks for everyone's info, i just called the auctioneer and he said it's been sitting for about 8 years, it started and ran fine 1 year ago.
He said the fuel pump is out of it and that's why it was parked.
The hood and muffler are off because they where looking it over before the sale.
I think I'll start at scrap price, but with the price of metal these days, it might be to high.
Thanks

| We used to have one. Those loaders will lift alot for their size ! I don't remember the spec. but it is over 4000 lbs. The hoes are too oversized and make them really light on the front end. Just when you think you have it all repaired you can start all over again as they are so old and many seen hard use it's hard to get them to hold up. I'd not pay anymore then scrap price, but that will be alot as that unit has got to be over 10,000 lbs. |

| From looking at the picture, I would leave it sitting right where it is. Looks like the muffler and hood are off and the tracks are pretty loose. Looks like it has been setting there awhile. |

| I'd want to see it stand up and move on it's own, and pick up something heavy, and walk around with it. |
