I have Bendix injectors (HB-100) in my 4010. I"ve rebuilt the engine (new sleeves, pistons, rings) but my idle is still rough. When I had the injectors adjusted, the technician said that they leaked badly and needed a thorough rebuild. Rebuilt Bendix are available but at a high price. New pencil injectors are available for much less. I have a machine shop where I could make adapters to permit most injectors to be used.1) Did 4010s ever come from the factory with pencil injectors? 2) Has anyone ever put pencil injectors in a 4010? The supplier of these new injectors say they are for some 4010 tractors and some 4020 tractors. Thanks, Denny |

| I think that would not be worth the trouble,,you can use a early 4020 head, not the "very " early, they are the same as a 4010,I"m not sure of the serial no. break, but between 1965 and 1969 would work, but still I think it would be cheaper to just have your old ones re-built... |
