got one more question..does anyone know the serial # break when a 720LP went from 10 to 11 teeth on the starter drive...think maybe the wrong tooth count has been causing my starter troubles..am on the road & can"t get to my parts book...thanks

| got my brother to look in the parts book for me ..my serial # is 7211290 = part # 1935414 is that the 10 or 11 spline? ...the one that came to pieces is 11 spline 1.350 across teeth...will also need part # R11116 & R11117 washer & retainer....thanks for the help

I only see one flywheel ring gear, and one starter drive. No serial breaks.

You are right on the ring gear but I believe you
looked at the 730 starter which was solenoid
operated. The 720 drives were 1935414 -7214899 and
AR 11005 7214900-. Rich

Phooey, you are right. I was paging backwards in the parts book because the starter is not listed in the index. Still, curious that only one ring gear is called out.

| BTY F-I-T my brother had a yell of a time looking it up also finally found under "motor,drive" or something like that he thinks it took 3 good men 3 days to name that part...LOL...take care
