I have had float sticking trouble and today i pulled the carb off and removed the bowl. When i started to take out the float bearing screws (the brass screws on each side of the bowl that hold the float pin) it snaped off.The good news is the other side came off easy and got the broke peice out easily with some needle nose pliers. As soon as i put the screw driver on it with little effort it snaped off in peices.I put a kit in it 3 years ago.Didnt have any problems then when i tightend them up. Now toe question is where to get a new one? Does mother Deere have them? Do i need to call a salvage yard? My carb is a DLTX 51. Thanks. |
