We know the last 4020 is 270288. I was told there were less than 50 72 4020 gases. So you are toward the end.I have read that the Two Cylinder club in Grundy Center Ia.can find serial numbers plus what dealer they went to for a fee but have never tried.

Dave ,time goes fast hope tractor worked out good. The late 4020 powershifts are getting hard to come by.My friend Chis that I partner with on some tractors just got two original 70 4020 powershifts with less than 4500 hours. It seems like most people are looking for 71/72 and prefer originals.I guy called with a 72 gas from Wisc. wanting to know its value but I have only had a few 4000 gases and no 4020s so I wasnt much help.I will know who 8850 Dave is from now on.I got a 714020P.S.from TxJim and we have been YT tractor friends since.
