im wondering if you guys might know where i could start with trying to trace previous owners of my 4620? I purchased it from wyatt farm machinery in november 2010 but they wont tell me who owned it previously, (not sure why!!!) I want to do some engine work but i dont want to tear into it without finding out what / any work was done to it previously. I can post any details you think might help like serial no / picture etc.. would really appreciate any help. |

| I hope they are not trying to cover up a bad past and just trying to protect the previous owner from being bothered or worse yet today sued. In todays world with all the hippa laws for other stuff maybe it affects this too. |

| Two-cyclinder magazine can get you when it was built and where it was shipped when new.I think they charge $30. Years ago a new subscriber they would research one tractor free and we had our 4010 done. |

| 40 years of history is hard to find on NewGen tractors. On 2cyls for a fee you can find out when and where it was made and dealer who sold it new.The dealer would know where he got it from and I can not see why he would not tell you.Probably should have asked before you wrote the check. We always give name and ph# of previous owner and ask previous owner before we purchase it if it is O.K. to do so.Sometimes they even ask what they got for it. |
