John Deere 95 or 105 combine

They are real hard to find parts for with the exception of belts and some bearings. Suggest you look for a 4400. Gasoline powered 4400's are real cheap around here. Not a big deal if you don't run many hours per year.

Micah,

You missed this one? Sold in central Ohio about a month ago. Best 105 I have seen.

This guy had a lot of old and unusual equipment still in use on the farm.

that is an awesome machine. we had 5 105s,simple rugged machines. i think randalls had a 95 (nw ohio).......15,000 dollars.

A 105 diesel will eat a 4400 and a 95 diesel will run circles around a 4400 gas.The 105 and 95 are much easier to work on than the 4400 as well.I have replaced enough countershaft bearings in 3300,4400 and 6600 combines to not like that series of machines. But you are rifht that they are getting harder to find parts for.The best answer is to find a junk one or two and park them in a fence row for parts.

We had a John Deere 45 when I was growning up. It was a very reliable machine and easy to work on. We upgraded to a Massey Ferguson 510 but it doesn't clean as well as the old 45 did and not as easy to work on.
