What is the biggest size tires I can get on original wheels
front and rear? Also keeping it proportional? I hate the 11.2-
24 with 5.00-15

You could go to an 11.2-28 inch tire. Miller Tire shows a few options all $350+ per tire. That would give you a bit of extra rear end height.

If you wanting to stay with the 24" rim a 12.4 or 13.6 X 24 can work. I dont understand the need to increase the front.

12.4 x 24 is as big as you can go & still look decent. It will look just a little fat but they grip well & don't leave as much of a footprint. There isn't much you can do about the front because the wheel is so narrow. 5.5 x 15 but you could get a different tread design. The tri-rib's are a bit pointy cause there so narrow.

I put 11.2x24 on mine & they look fine, the rear
of the tractor doesn"t sit higher that the
front. But I used the wider rim from a A/C
combine, that might have made the difference.

The parts book shows 16" front wheels as an option. Also a 12 x 26" rear wheel was an option on the rear, these 26" wavy center wheels where common on 420 and 430 model tractors. The 24" and 26" wavy center wheele use the same center , just a different wheel. As a matter of fact I have several 26" wheels available for sale. Contact me if your interested. Call 573 535 8952.
