got a 1939 jophn deere a with the older style 36" rims where the hub is part of the spline i made a puller to get the rims off for new tires how do you get them back on, they will not just slide back on is there so type of press or deadman a bottle jack agaist somethign and press them on , etc.

Had that problem on a 37 B. used a file to get ridges off the splines, once its smooth, itll go on, and lubricate as well.
