I have a 60 or I thought it was a 60 has no tag bought it as a 60 talked to a guy yesteerday and he thinks it maybe a 70 by the size of the grill
it has a hydro power serial of PCV. 254262 or could be PGV. is there a way to cross reference to the tractor or dose someone have that info.
Thanks Wenzel

Rita, there are a couple of easy ways to tell without looking at part numbers, although numbers will confirm. The 60 has a straight frame while the 70 (like a G) has an offset frame to clear the extra width of the engine. Also, the flywheel cover on the 60 is more rounded toward the outside while the 70's is flatter. One other thing that will tell you is the left hand governor cover. The 60 will have four bolts while the 70 has three. Hope this will help you. Mike

The 70 quadrant will look like the top picture and the 60 will look somewhat like the bottom picture.

Take a look at the photo below of the frame on "Big John" our 55 Model 70 diesel.

I think the frames on the Model 70's are different than the frames on the Model 60's.

had a 730 which had a step in the frame bigger engine than a 60 so i thought a 70 would be the same which has basicly the same engine as a 730
thanks to all wenzel
