Tried about everything I can think of. 39 B styled. Has an obvious miss while running. I"m about ready to go back to the carb. It has a DLTX 10 on it. When running it does have a lot of condensation that forms just ahead of the manifold. Is this really the right carb? The IT manual does not list this as the original carb. If it isn"t, is there anything that can be done to it? HELP!!

B's up to s/n 96000 use the DLTX-10.
96000 to 2010999 use the DLTX-34 which has a slightly larger throat, comparable to the late B DLTX-67 and 73.
Condensation even frost on the carb while running is not unusual.
Misfiring is usually ignition, or a sticking valve.
Does it misfire if you open the idle mix adjustment on the carb?

With these older 2-Cylinder JD's, it would help to tell us if you are familiar with the usual sound of an early US 2-Cylinder and the normal way they Idle..
Does it smooth-out once it is under Load..??

Could be most anything from a sticking valve, to a worn throttle plate pivot..
