1010 Hydraulic Pump

I have a friend that needs a hydraulic pump for a 1010 John Deere utility tractor with a front loader. Rebuilders are telling him that the seals can't be bought for it, so it's junk. John Deere says they're discontinued and can't help either, even with outside suppliers. Anyone on here have one or know of anyone who can rebuild one or know of anyone who might have a good used one? Thanks.

Is this the main tractor hydraulic pump or a "stinger pump"?

If tractor main pump, power steering or not? Serial number?

Shaft seal should be a standard part. Is pump a Cessna? Baum Hydraulics in Omaha MAY be able to help with obscure pump parts.

There's a new old stock one on ebay,and a couple used ones.Just do a search for john deere 1010.

1010 came in Ag green and Ind yellow. Both models also could be ordered manual or power steering which affected seal #. i only listed PS seals.

749 - 1010 Utility Tractor - 01Jul08 seal is part # AT14993 (nla)
750 - 1010 Series Wheel and Landscape Tractors ( AT14993 seal SN 10001-24694)(AH15442 seal $6.99 SN 24695- )

So, are you saying the seal is available if you go about looking it up through the "back door?" Thanks.

Availability of seal from JD will depend your tractors serial number. If your tractor is below 24694 the seal is no longer available from JD but you may be able to cross-reference it. No backdoor I just looked it up on JDparts.com
