Do you have any John Deere Front-Mount Cultivators?

Just wondering who on here has any of the old John Deere Front-Mount Row-Crop Cultivators.

Just curious to see who all has one. Which ones, i.e. model numbers do you have?

I have really taken a liking to these old cultivators. For some reason I think that they look really cool mounted on the front of the tractor.
Just trying to find out who else on this forum has one or more of these.

I have 2 ABG 200 two-row and a Model 40 4 row.

Thanks!

We still have Dad's cultivators, maybe a T40 model, we had it on the 630 narrow front, and also Dad bought the front rockshaft for this cultivator since we only had single hyd's and had alot of pointed rows, he raised the left side with hyd/front rockshaft and the right side with the rear/3pt arm. Then the 4020 had the AT40 that ones still in the shed. He must have bought that new and never seen it off outside. I liked mounting the AT40 alot better. Then he found the rear three point rigs to cover the wheel tracks of the 4020. He liked using the 4020 alot more but used the 4020 with a bale wagon for baling so thats when the 630 and cultivator took over. I remember him saying you could fry eggs on the foot/floor pan on the 630 (hot feet). chris

I have an A4 converted to 6 row 30" mounted on a wide front 620. I do custom cultivating for some oganic growers in my area. I have covered between 200 and 400 acers a year for the last 15 years. I try to get on the field as soon as I can see the rows of corn and do three cultivations 10 days to two weeks apart.

I have 3 sets. One H 200 restored mounted on a 43 HN. One ABG 200 restored On a 52 A. One ABG 200 wide set shich operators manual overhead view lists as 215 not yet yet restored going on a 50 BN with 42" rear wheels with long axels. All have crop shields.

SOunds like a lot of folks have them. I think there is also a set on my dad's old farm in Massachusetts that we used on 50 B.. had corn planter system and rear gangs also. Two row. GREAT finger pinchers but worked great!

We used a No. 80 four-row vegetable cultivator on our 1949 "BW" in Saginaw Valley of Michigan (beans and beets). Also had a two-row bean puller.

I put a set on my GM on steel. A set for a G was hard to find. I drove 700 miles one way to get it. Paid over $100 in tolls.
