i need help on setting my john deere H valves... can anyone tell me step by step easy instructions on doing so?

With tappet cover and both spark plugs removed, turn flywheel until left hand (No. 1) piston is at end of its compression stroke (L.H.IMPULSE@mark) and adjust both tappets on the left hand side, Turn flywheel until right-hand (No. 2) piston is at the end of its compression stroke (one half revolution from above) and adjust both tappets on right hand side. Tappets should be adjusted between 0.017 and 0.018 inch room temp. Hope this helps you, Mark.

your a diesel hot rodder lol & u cant adjust valves on an engine? crank it to firing position & set em for about 20 thou with a dial indicator, or just till you feel slight fore-aft movement in the pushrod is fine. its not a high tech engine.
