I bought a head that someone had broken off all the valve guides. Can someone explain how to remove them and replace them?

Put the head in a press and press them out. Pretty easy.They will come out towards the rocker arms.

If you have a large punch that will fit the ends you can drive them out with a hammer. That is how I removed a set of them a few years ago.
