I have been told about a John Deere model 1050 tractor, approximately 1984 vintage, for sale with a rebuilt engine for $6,500. I do not know the model 1050 tactor, and do not see it listed in YT Mag. Does anyone know anything about this model and, if so, whether $6,500 is a good price? Any help would be much appreciated.

I own a 1982 model 1050, 1300 Hrs.Total, 75 fontend loader, new rubber all around. This tractor has and all most bullet proof motor.
I have added gages, ropes ( roll over proection)bar, and a custom built top. This has been and excellant tractor.

I used to own a 1050. If it is a 4X4 with power steering and frontend loader, then I'd say $6,500.00 is a very good price for it. Also, what are the hours on the motor?

I own a john deere model 1050 with a 75 loader. It has 2200 hours on it. I paid $10,500 for it about 2 months ago and I thought that was a pretty good deal.
