Plow attachments

Hi all -- first time post here as I just purchased my first ever tractor: a 1980 John Deere 2440 with 3500 hours in great shape. Got it for 6,500 and plan to use it for a 30 acre "hobby" farm (hopefully that's a cue for everyone to say that's a good deal as I have no idea???). My question is this: i just finished bush hogging the land and next step will be to plow, but every plow I see for sale is for Category 1 hitches -- the 2440 is a category 2....what do I do? thx all -Bob

Don't know if you got a good deal or not but I would say since it works with no problems you did well.
They make little sleeves that fit those. Can purchase at your dealer or farm supply store.
