OK, I'll bite. I don't need or want the machine but what makes you say it's a scam?
 
A 4110 with loader and backhoe for $4200 and free shipping anywhere in the US or Canada? It's a scam.
 
Similar scam going around here on Craigslist. Showed a nice little JD with a backhoe for $4850 supposedly at a nearby dealer but you could tell from the picture it wasn"t at that dealer.
 
These scams are becoming more and more common. Another one is on Craigslist using eBay as the money exchange mechanism. In this example, a JD 2001 45 HP 5105 Tractor with 521 loader with under 600 hours was listed for $3500. Friend of mine in NC contacted the lister and she stated the machine was in NY and would have it shipped to NC. But she was unwilling to meet face to face with him to complete the transaction. She wanted to the money to be sent thru an eBay listing. This particular machine is valued at way more than $3500. Funny thing....when I did a search for this on the internet, Craigslist in OH already had it flagged for removal.

Scam? You bet!
 
I advertised a rolex watch on craigslist and all the responses i get want to pay through paypal.No one ask any questions about the watch and there emails only mention the ITEM i have for sale.How do they scam through paypal.
