IF a INTERNAL HYDRAULIC PUMP in the rear end on a 1968 high low RABBIT TURTLE SHIFTER ON THE DASH ON a 1020 John deere RUH , went bad. would it relieve oil in to the bellhousing or is there a relief port in side the bellhousing. Every thing is working on the tractor, ITS just puking and slinging HYDRAULIC oil out the bellhousing AND inspection grease plate. The tractor had issue when we got it , IT had a bad front hydro pump coupler on a brand new front pump. We fixed that . they had a check valve in the sucker side LINE FOR THE front pump AT THE inside REAR END HYDRAULIC HOUSING LINE PORT . caused the front hydro pump to wine and palsate bad in all the lines. The check valve should noT be in a hi low TRACTOR THE JD book says. so we took it out and it caused this. THE BOOK dont give a good image of wich line tie's in on the rear end for the front pump, THIS TRactor was SET UP SUCKER line ON THE INSIDE with check valve in rear end, and RETURN ON THE OUT SIDE ON THE rear end, any info might help . the check valve caused it to wine and hydro lines to palsate bad , no check valve sounded fine but it started puking hydro oil into the clutch bell
