1940 B came with a DLTI3 carb. The back needle valve will not rotate completely because it hits the fan shaft. So don't think its the right carb. Any idea what carb is suppose to fit it? DLTX34??

Hi Ric -- I could be off-base here, but I do not think there is such a thing as a DLTX13 carburetor. I think DLTX13 is a part number for a sub-section of your carb. Where to look -- from the right side of your tractor, check around the end of the choke shaft bearing - you should find the carburetor model # there.

Carburetor ID -- go to the website listed below. When you get there, scan across to ARTICLES 1. From the drop-downs, select CARB ID CHART. There you will find a several-pages document with a table that lists the carburetor that was installed on Waterloo tractors at the factory. Enjoy! (PatB)

Thanks Pat for the info. Good website.
The number did come from the bowl. I'll search again tonight and the choke end. Thanks again Rick

Ric, my 1940 B has a DLTX10 on it. My parts manual also lists the DLTX 10 as the carb for tractors with serial numbers up to 95999.
It lists DLTX34 for 96000 to 200999 serial numbers.
