Go to the "open parts catalog" section @ jdparts.com, choose "Catalog number search", then enter "CAT45R" in the "Catalog #" search box.

This is the "CAT45R - No. 45 Repair Catalog for Tractors and Engines"... a BIG .pdf file of 505 pages. I downloaded it and saved it to disc. You can print any or all of it.

WHAT a wonderful resource for those who work on the Johnny Poppers

Ric,
After you open the John Deere Parts Catalog on the left side, are you clicking on the Catalog Number Search at the top of the page. Then enter the cat45r in the search box.

Are you looking in the "CATALOG #" search box, rather than in the "model search" box?

You're giving the wrong URL web-link, maybe that's the problem some are having.

Should be:

http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.HomePageServlet_Alt

You've got a link to www.jdparts.com that goes to a place to order parts, not look them up.

You sure can get there from www.jdparts.com

Once there, just click on the yellow picture on the left side panel titled "John Deere Parts Catalog". It has yellow downward arrow above it titled "Start Searching here".

I'm not saying "you can't get there from there." I'm saying that it might be confusing to someone (who's not finding it) that clicks on the posted link - and does not see the posted photo as shown. Technically, you get just about anywhere from anywhere on the Net.

Is this a pretty rare book? I have a 45-R, pretty used shape but all pages are there including the covers. Also have a suplement to it for the AOS and G. What do they go for in fair-good shape?
