I have a model 37 John Deere Front end loader on a 2020 tractor-believe it's a 1967 or 1968 model-- tractor and loader.

The loader has a manual bucket trip and the hydralic cylinders only have lift capacity (no downward pressure.

The left cylinder is leaking and I need to know what packing kit to order--no model or serial number on cylinder--used for barnyard duty for 25+ years by my Father and outside of cylinder is has heavy rust.

Any thoughts on how I identifie model of cylindr? Thaks.

Tom

JPPARTS.COM only list one lift cylinder for that loader ? so the kit appears to be AC14603
or take it to any local hyd. cyl. shop and they likely have the parts on hand too.

At the home page on the Left side in the green area about half way down it should say something about parts catalogs ? go there, then in the upper Left it will ask model # put in 37 then select loader as it may come up with alot of other things with the same model #

Mike,

Thanks for your effort to help me. After I got off the computer last night I thought maybe there was a typo in the address--thus I tried JDPARTS.com and hit the sight. Thanks for refering me to the sight. With this old tractor there is always someting going wrong. Everytime I'm working on it I questions my Dad's logic in selling the 4440.

Well if I would of read my own post I'd of seen I goofed up ! I'm no typer. My Bad

Those 4440 are great and still in high demand, but they are alot bigger then a 2020. May not of needed one that large ?
