I inherited a New Idea Model # 201 ( made from 1960 -1966 )manure spreader along with the property that I bought last year. The manure spreader is not in very good condition and probably have been sitting outside since the middle 70"s. I was wondering what you guys might think it is worth ??? If you are interested in it shoot me a email and I can send you some pics.

Thanks,
Scott

I have one. I am second owner and it has always been shedded. Repainted once and new web once. I really like the spreader since it does a good job in strawy cow manure. Cannot get the same triple beater on today's spreaders.

I take it that the wood is all shot on yours and the metal is bad too if it has been setting outside since the 1970's.

It probably only has a home made trailer wood hauler value if the manure spreading mechanisms are rusted out.

Mark,

I will email you some pics today. Sorry for the late reply but I thought I set it to email me when I got a reply from the forum. The spreader is located in central ohio.

Thanks,
Scott
