We had one of those 7/6 mowers and used it for years. I sold it in 2001 because the deck needed repair and the blades were shot. Bought a Woods RD7200- good mower but not in the class with the old lilliston. Any way the other day I discovered a company in Florida is making mowers identical to the old lilliston. Mathis Equipment, Inc. claims they can provide parts for the old ones too, wish I had mine back now.

Thought I'd look thru the posts in Implement Alley and pass the info along.

I mow with a 5' Lilliston flying clipper. The metal on the deck has been gotten by the rust bug.
I have priced replacing the old brush hog and have concidered going to a 6' but they don't seem to made near as well as that lilliston and I'm not sure I have the horse to pull a 6 footer. I've found and replaced the blades this year from the local Family Center. Think I'll probably make repairs on this one with some diamond plate or something and go on. Have you got anymore info on Mathis Equip. ?
