I have just received a set of Lantz Coulters for our IHC 8C plow. Am in the process of disassembly cleaning and painting.
Here is the colour so far the shafts [ bell cranks] were a red and have found that the coulters were black. does any one know what colour the main cast iron frame was? After I have soaked them in 1 part molasses and 9 parts water for water for several weeks I will prime and paint; SO! if any one has information for me that would assist me that would be appreciated.

For any one working on these type of coulters>
As I disassembled them I discovered hidden inside the colour of the main frame. The colour was a blue colour not far off faded IHC blue.
So Now I have answered all my questions.
I have placed the majority of the parts [minus] the large disks [since they wont fit in my 25 gallon drum] placed id a ixture of 1 part molassis and 9 arts water. Will leave till the end of May or June the remove clean and paint.
