Im in the process of research the project of restoring the Farmall C 244 cultivators ,the C220 ,1,2 corn planter ,any ideas or information that would help is appreciated.
These photos are of a 1948 Farmall C with front mounted C244 corn and cotton cultivators, The fertilizer units are unknown at this time .
They do not match the side dresser for the C244 ,these mount to the bell housing. They will work as side dresser ,I think if I can figures the flat link chain drive out. They will not work with C220 221,222 because the Richmond hopper will crunch when the touch controls lift the planter .
These fertilizer units may be used with a c272 planter , do you know that planter ? I dont .

No I don't, but i have seen C's with a sprocket on the rear axles,on the inside, it's a split sprocket. The South Dakota IHC club,[Chapter 21] has ,a two row no till planter, Expermental, that was built in the 40's or 50's, that goes on a M, i hope to see that work, this summer.

They did an article on it in Red Power magazine, unfortunately I was in process of downsizing for a move and I gave them away to another member.
Im going to attempt it with the c220 planter planter .
I see a number of attachment s to copy ,greeting plenty of reading materials, unfortunately I dont have the red power article .
I think a lot of the ag engineers.

Your fertilizer hoppers are in amazing condition, most of that era rusted out within a decade.
