weight of 1950 to 1960 [=/-] plow

I have an #8C [ Canadian made in Hamilton Ontario] two furrow two wheel lift type plow on rubber [ with no rear wheel].
Having looked through any of the owners manuals I have I have not found any reference to the weight of the unit.
Would any one know the exact weight of the the group of IHC Plows [ little genius made in the U.S. and its cousin the #8C made in Canada] two furrow.
The reason is, I am starting to plan for a float trailer and need to take in to account the weight of the Farmall BN, the plow and my wife's electric run about trike. So far I have the weight of the BN at 1800 lbs,. and trike at 150 LBS.
So to complete the calculations I require the weight of the plow.
We will be designing the trailer particulars as follows; length 18 feet width 7 to 7.5 feet tandem axel with 13 to 15 inch tires.
Thank you for your assistance.

Overbuild the trailer. You may someday haul something heavier. The last thing you want is to have a trailer failure from overloading. Go with two 3500 lb axles. That will give 7000 pound 'load',that includes the weight of the trailer.A trailer that long will be eventually called upon to haul some heavy loads. There are some long ATV/snowmobile trailers out there that I wouldnt trust to haul an 8N ford.

The BN is 1800, the trike is 150. that's 1950. Plow,3 to 400. That's 2350.if you want to bring any other items, you will have more... two 1500 lb axles will get you 3000lb gvw on the trailer. Barely enough in my opinionTwo 2000 lb axles will get 4000 gvw.Thats acceptable..Two 2500 lb will get 5000 gvw on trailer.you will have plenty of trailer. you can haul a heavier tractor someday if needed.I have a small gooseneck trailer. two 3500 lb axles .7000 gvw. Pulled with a half ton Ford.I've hauled my SuperM sveveral timesThat tractor alone is too much, add an implement and I am seriously overloaded. And I've (foolishly) hauled more..I thought I had enough trailer,I was wrong. My point is better to have 'too much' trailer than 'too little'.Just food for thought.

Thank you both for the quick replies.
The figures you supplied helps me to calculate the load weight properly.
I will be looking to set up an approximate 5000 pounds plus or minus with 2 3500 capacity axels on 14 or 15 inch tires and 2 to 2&1/2 catch. Now to take time to look a some that are custom built to come up with an idea for items such as ramps, hold downs and boxes, duck tail or not, spring verses rubber mount axels. Since we now have all winter to figure these out and locate some one to give us the ""best price"" the only other thing [ other than breaks] is the wiring; since both the R.V. and our Volvo V6 xc70 have 6 wire setup the person who builds the trailer will have to allow us to do the final connections for both vehicles.
Thank you to the two of you again.

Don't overthink this project. Two 3,500 pound axles with brakes on both axles and 15 inch tires as a starting point. As you said you have all winter so look for a supplier/manufacturer so spec and order one already made that meets your likes, specs, and needs. There is no need to re-invent the wheel. Or look around now for one in inventory. That may be a better buy as dealers want to clear out existing inventory.
