Farmall H depth control system

Hey all,
Anybody thats plowed with Saginaw 3 point setup ever rig up a depth control system using chains ran from the tractor side of the top link down to the lower arms of the 3 point? If so, how well does this work? And please feel free to leave some tips on a good way of doing this. Pictures are always nice :D

Or best would be a depth wheel on plow as that would keep your depth the same when changing from going up hill to down. Where I am we do not have table top level ground as some have for flood irigation. So those things would work in that situation. Had those depth wheels on the plows with the Fords. That are supposed to control that internally but would not.

I hd a mounted plow once that used a gage wheel to carry it.a stop block allowed the tractor to carry the plow instaed of the wheel. The result was just like a 'draft controlled system. I could actually pull one more bottom carrying the plow, versus the gage wheel carrying the plow.

I don't know about others but the manual for the David Brown i once had said the tractor should carry the plow and the guage wheel should touch the ground but not carry any weight. It was there to lift the plow over humps only.
