Bush Hog 3-point 7-ft disc mower, very heavy downed lodged hay, the belts slipped a couple times. I haven't dug out the manual or removed the shield, but does anyone know if there is a belts tightener under that shielding or should I consider belt
dressing? Each time they slipped I quickly stopped and shut off the PTO. I've had this mower clog in the past a few times when hay was so heavy that it couldn't get out from under the skirting.
