Woods RM550 finish mower seals

So I have this finish mower that I am putting in all new bearings on the spindles. I have the bearing but forgot about getting the shaft seals. Any body by chance know what the numbers are for the seals?? I know it uses 2 different seals for top and bottom due to different shaft sizes. I know I can take a spindle and housing with me to match up seals but it is easier to get them if some one knows the numbers for them so I can then tell the parts guy those numbers.

Thanks

No way they can be the same top and bottom. One end of the shaft if bigger then the other end.

three different sources called for the same.

the diagrams show upper seal fits over a sleeve that is .84I.D. x 1.06O.D. x 1.125lg.

They all call for a #M12649 cone bearing as well top and bottom.

Both bearings are in fact the same but the seals cannot be. You press the bearing on from the pulley end of the shaft and the blade end of the shaft is bigger then the pulley end of the shaft so the seal has to be different

Well so far nobody knows what the numbers are.
I guess you will have to take in all of the spindle assembly parts to the seal store after all.

Do you install item #3 or does yours not have that sleeve?

A bit of a back story about this finish mower. About 2 years ago a guy brought this thing to me to fix. He then sold his farm a tractor and this mower and it has sat all that time. I took one spindle assembly apart back then and it has sat taken part that long. Yesterday while I was messing with it I found the spacer bushing so yes it takes the same sixe seal but up till I found the bushing and also took another spindle apart I did not know about the bushing. So now I have to stop an order for 3 seals and then order 3 more seals all the same size
