looking good sv., now we need a video of it baling, what are you going to be using for twine? did you get the rest of that field you where cutting with the sickle yet?

Cm I finished cutting it then I popped a baler tire and it took two days
to find one 😡 I baled some first crop weeds off some of my new
seeding grass baler missed the first bale because the needles hadn't
cycled no twine in the chamber after that it worked great . I?m headed
out about 3am to start and hopefully finish baling that meadow grass.
Not sure if I?ll be able to get a video in the dark but I?ll try . The baler
had just good ol off the farm supply store shelf Briidon twine in it
when I picked it up .this is a really nice little baler there is about 500
grease zerks on it I put the grease gun in the twine box I was glad I
did because when I got to the field after running for a little bit I got off
to check things and found a zerk I missed

It?s been so dry haven?t had a drop of rain since about may . This field hasn?t had anything done with it in 20 years or more . I finally got ahold of the guy who leases the main part of this farm and he said have at it . I?m going to run my aerator over it as soon as I get the hay off and then come in with some dry fertilizer about October first of November and then if it it?s as dry next year as if this I?ll cut it about the first of June . It?s not worth cutting from a Yield standpoint but it?s worth It to clean all the off the old growth and maybe scatter a little grass seee around and maybe thicken it up and give the fertilizer a place to lay where it can get to the ground . Hay had some pretty good color to but my 2 day wait for a baler tire really burned most of that off I shouldn?t have raked it until the day I was going to bale it . There?s a lot of seed heads with seed in it so it?s not going to be to bad of stuff I don?t think

Ended up with about half a ton to the acre . Trying to figure out if I can tie the lease up on this ground for a few years to make it worth putting some money into . Got 75 bales total really wish I could have got It baled sooner the sun Cooked most Of the color right out of it
