Deutz fahr km22 drum mower bushing

The bushings on the drive pulley that drive the drums finally wore out. They appear to be some sort of plastic or nylon. There is enough play now that the pulley can flex and the belt tension loosens and the belts come off. Anyone know a place in the US for parts for these old drum mowers. Or a place that carries enough of these plastic bushings that I may be able to find a suitable replacement.

thanks
Steve

I would try Landwehr Repair. Phone number 715-687-2317. They are up here in Wisconsin but will ship parts anywhere. I have gotten Deutz tractor parts from them (they have always been in-stock) and they know the machines inside and out. I have not needed Deutz implement parts from them but they did sell Deutz implements for 20+ years and I would be surprised if they cannot help. It is a small family run operation and the only new Deutz tractor dealer in Wisconsin at the moment.

Good Luck!
Dan

Gary, I had one of those Duetz mowers several years back. It had been sitting in a old barn for years and bought it for $150. PO said it had "a bad bearing". Short story, I ended up rebuilding almost the entire mower  . I found that I could cross reference almost all of the bearings, belts, bushings, etc from local bearings and drives distributors or internet. Those parts I could not purchase new I had built(or rebuilt) by local machine shop or found at Deutz dealers in their scrap yard. Had quite a time refurbishing that old mower but when completed it would cut hay as fast as you could drive the tractor! PS: Don't know if I helped you much but you should be able to find what you are looking for if you are persistent. As I remember I had a parts schematic but for the life of me I can not remember how I found it!
