Changing belts in a Hesston 530 . Getting the tension off

Got this baler and its got new belts but they are installed with the grip surface reversed. So need to take them out and flip them over. Whats the best way to get some slack in these belts? Thanks

raise the gate ,open the side doors there is a hole on each side that you stick pins in . the pins should be stored next to the holes. Then lower gate to take pressure off belts.
