I have a NH 472 that I have purchased used... I broke the roller drive chain... and when it did it damaged the drive Belt (which I planned to replace) and also the belt Sheave/pulley... now here is the problem... I need to take the old sheave/pulley off.. what is the easiest way to take the bearing off of the end of the shaft behind the conditioner rolls? or is there an easier way to remove the pulley?? can I take it off from the gearbox end??? lots of questions I Know.. and I do appreciate all help.

Click on Modern view and put in the search bar NH 472 bearing. Hit search and when the page resets hit search again. It will pull up old posts on that. I think someone recently posted on the same subject with pictures.
 

New Holland makes a shop manual for the 472 and similar haybines. Well worth the cost.
