Looking for advice: 3-pt Sprayers

Good day and first post!

I'm looking for advice or recommendations on (100-150 gallon) 3 point sprayers.

We are typically farming between 10 and 40 acres and are currently using a 40 gallon Fimco we bought 6 years ago after deciding to lease out the majority of the farm and selling the 1000 gallon sprayer we had.

The Fimco hasn't been too bad, however, the tank just cracked for the second time and I just went through 3 check valves ($30 per) just to spray out a tank. I would like the new one to have a PTO pump as well.

The sprayer is typically used for spraying glyphosate on corn/beans and we use either a Farmall 706 or CIH JX80...

Thanks!

I have a Schaben 110 gallon 3pt. boomless.
Would recommend you check them out. Use to
spray pastures and for alfalfa weevil. No
compliants after 5 years.

I have a Broyhill 300 gallon, hard to get on and off and you have to open the rear window on the cab before
you hook up the sprayer.

I use a pull type on a two wheel cart. I don't like 3 point sprayers because of their weight on the three point. Most sprayers are built using 'vendor' parts.I don't think 'brand' has much to do with it. Look for quality parts and workmanship.

I have sold Demco brand three point sprayers. Not cheap but good quality. Usually sold by Equipment dealerships not farm stores. Fimco stuff is very light duty.

The link is to DEmco's page on three point sprayers with a PTO roller pump.

Demco three point sprayer.

I had one of those too and really liked it. It had the optional spot sprayer too which was great. They are now known as Ag Spray. I think the web site is www.agspray.com.

Thanks much for the info! I found a couple of places locally to check those out. Wish I had down this 6 years ago!!!

I was going to ask about getting a "Roundup Ready pump" vs. a normal one, but found an old post discussing that.

Thanks again!
