New idea 251 sickle mower question

Looking to purchase a new idea 251 sickle mower, it has a hydraulic cylinder mounted to raise and lower arm, will this mow at 90 degrees? I'm looking to use in my woods trimming back small branches etc from the trails, and also use on a bank along my house. Thanks

A New idea 251 is a fine hayfield type mower but it will only cut a few degrees either way from level as it is a pitman stick drive.

It is not well suited for banks nor will it cut at 90 degrees.

Massey Dyna balance head mower or some of the new Holland models would be what I would look for instead for those unusual uses outside the hayfield.
