469 bushing question

I picked up a 469 a couple of years ago with all the typical places rusted through. Price was free so I changed out some parts with a 479 and had some welding done and I now have a machine that works pretty
good for what I need. Only problem after a few acres it shears the bolt in the bushing that moves the knives. Looks like a new bushing is needed so I just ordered it. My question is can I just loosen the bolt
on the end and it just tap out. Will I need to have the new one pressed in or can it be tapped in with a block of wood and a hammer.

Well if it is like the NH460 I have you have to pull the cutter bar out and press the old one out and then press in the new one.

there are a couple of other things that can cause that problem call me at 270-528-2134 and ask for larry so I can help you

Last one I did I was able to hammer it out but it must be pressed in. When reinstalling the cutterbar make sure the wobble box and cutterbar are in midstroke position before you tighten the bolt.
