Sickle Bar Question

Does anyone know if a knife head from a Ford 501 will fit on a bar from an International 1300? I have a 1300 bar with a broken knife head, and a 501 with a broken bar. I think the Ford takes A- sections and the 1300 takes B- sections.

Cannot say yes to that but I have taken bars from other sickle mowers and put them on other brands. If it has a pitman stick and uses the ball part you can use them from just about any brand of machine. I had a sickle bar break the other day and took a bar I had laying around in my shop and put it on the A-16 I have. I have no idea what brand the bar came off of but it fit and works

I would say probably not. Buy lay them side by side and see.

Your rivet spacing is different for those sections, that is why the different letter on those sections.
