New holland baler issues

I started baling hay today and the new holland 68 was doing fine but then it just stopped tying knots altogether, I tried adding and decreasing tension on the twine tensioner and it hasn't done anything. The manual hasn't been much help after that, kind of at a loss on what to do now.

Did it stop tying on both twines at the same time? Is your knotter drive cycling when tripped by the metering arm? Is the knotter drive shear bolt sheared? Are the needles back in the 'home' position?

Need more info for us to be able to help you help your self. There is likely to be a shear pin that will cause that that keeps the knotter from working. You need to cycle the knotter by hand and watch what it does and then tell us so we can help you

I can?t see it from here. But a very common cause of instantaneous failure to tie on both sides is a broken twine finger return spring.
