Ive got a pto shaft on my 5 ft bush hogg. It still slides in and out and still functions its just got a little warp to it.
Will it hurt the tractor or the bush hogg?
Ive considered getting a new pto shaft but the bush hogg aint the best shape either.
Thanks

graveyard when it's running is there a lot of vibration? I would be concerned about doing pto damage, bearings, seals, if there is a lot of difference in the vibration level between the pto off and running.

That?s what i would worry about as well .but as long as it?s not
bent to much and doesn?t really vibrate I?d run it . Sometimes
the shield can get messed up and make the shaft look bent
bent but it isn?t .

Vibration you can see and hear and feel, decide if it bothers or not.

I'd be more worried about it sliding in and out smoothly. You can't really see if it is is sliding smoothly under load, the bend could cause a pretty hard pull or push on your pto shaft, lot of stress on the retaining bits in the tractor?
