can anyone tell me the diameter of the friction wheel rubber washers when they are new as my dealer wants $479.00 for a new wheel and as i am a tool and die maker i believe i can make these a whole lot cheaper i have a danuse md6 3pt post driver with 15 rubber washers sandwiched between two large washers for a wheel

i have the same model, and at some point, going to do the same think your talking about. My thought is to take all of the shims out if there are any installed. Take a measurement with the wheel at the most far and closest point and kind of shoot for the middle. Let us know how it turns out if you attempt it.

You need to read this old conversation:

Then contact JDSeller here as he is still active.
If he still has the washers on his shelf, I bet he would be willing to measure them for you. Or maybe he is willing to sell them.
Or just buy the washers from Danuser.
Per that old post the new washers should be about $80 now.[/url]
