JD two row planter

Well the model is a 290 but for the year I would need to see the serial number. I can see the sn plate in that one picture but when I blow it up enough to read, it gets blurry.

Where do you see a picture? I see none. And a 290 JD planter does not have a serial number plate. The number is supposed to be stamped into the top frame angle on the right side but the 4 of the 290 planters I have setting here it is not to be found, either stamped so lightly not seen even wirebrushing rust off or they were not stamped.

Lets try this again...

I have no idea what model planter or even make it is. I see the letter D in the part number picture so it has to be a Deere but do not have any idea of model number. It is either a lister or bedder planter. Definatly not a Deere 290 as they are a flat land planter. It is too long since you have put things on it is burried so far back most will not see it, I would not have found it if it had not been marked as last post on the implement section and as soon as somebody else replies to something that will be gone. So just start a new post where it will show up new and where people will see it.

Or just look on modern view. It's right on page 1.

It's definitely a JD lister/bedder with planting attachments. Determining the model will take a little research for me. The lister/bedder is what's referred to as a belly mount prior to era of 3 pt hitches so I;m going to guess it fit on letter or 1st series of number designated JD tractors. Take notice of the JD logo in the photo.
