For those looking I was in Rural King today and they had both 9,000 and 16,000 on the floor and at $45 a bale. Don't farm anymore so don't need it. The 7,200 that I used to use did not see any of that or any plastic of the size to replace. Also seed corn for under a hundred dollars a bag, did not check for maturity.

Got my supply last week at TSC for $49.99 minus a 15% discount. Wiit with baited breath for those special coupons.

Corn for under $100 bucks per bag ,, wow !! Last time I bought corn that was called "silage blend" it was $160 , and that was about 20 years ago. Silage blend was a mix of different corn , some grain some silage with different maturing rates. So It was ok for chopping, and not Round up ready. Gave the seed companies a way to sell old stock , or returned seed. I wonder if the corn you had seen was the same idea. Big companies would also sell this stuff under a different brand name.
