Case 2 Bottom Plow Parts Needed

I’m looking for parts for my Case MR plow. I am curious as to why the Eagle Hitch needed a pivoting bar vs a stationary bar for the 3 pt hitch.

Any chance someone might have these parts available?

The Case Eagle Hitch didn't have a provision for "sway". The pivoting arm allowed the plow to move side to side as the EH arms wouldn't. I
have several earlier 2 btm Case plows without the pivot provision and they work fine without.

casecollectorsc,
Will the pivoting arm on the model I have cause too much movement with the 3 pt hitch setup?

I have a 2 bottom MRA plow and use it with a later model 430 with the Ferguson 3pt hitch and it does fine. The reason for movement is to allow the plow a little give when the tractor turns, etc.

I have a BER plow that I use on an SC. It doesn't have the pivoting bar your photo shows, but does have a provision for swinging from side to side. The furrow wheel on the back kept the plow aligned with the tractor BTW, unless the attachment pins were changed, that plow would only work with an Eagle Hitch tractor.

Your second photo looks to me like an alignment adjustment. It's used to make sure the plow pulls parallel to the tractor. If not set correctly, the plow will pull harder than it should and your tractor will tend to pull either toward or away from the furrow. The adjustment is needed no matter what tractor you use to pull the plow.

I also have an old Ford 101 plow that has an adjustment that serves a similar function. With that one, a handle would swing the offset arm with the attachment pins, moving one forward and the other back to align the plow.
