MCCormick/Farmall 251 planter hopper base plate

Hey guys I recently picked up a c-251 planter. It is in need of the seed hopper base plate P/N: 488815R2. If anyone has one they are willing to part ways with let know. Maybe interested in the whole assembly, but all I need is the base plate. If you guys think this may get more attention elsewhere let me know. Thanks for viewing and your inputs. Nick.

I have two old Ih planters the steel press wheel type don't know what model but parts look like they might be the same
 
Fossil, can you please check the part numbers of the base to be sure mine is on the plate itself. Here is a pic. Thank you for your response and fast response.
 
A number on the plate would be just a plate number and not the number for anything else.
 
leroy I am confused about your post. Are you stating that number goes to just the plate and not the entire bucket assembly or are you saying that I number is not the part number for the plate? That is the number stamped into the plate and when I go to Case/IH part finder that is the part number they list it under. The plate is all I need to get my planter up and going. I have the bucket, seed plate assmbly, and upper bracket the goes on the bucket itself. When I bought the planter the buckets were on it and I didn't take them off. I appreciate your help and guidance with this. Nick.
 
Thanks for the reference to mike. I called he couldn't help out this go round. I gave him my name and number just in case he gets some stock in. Thanks again for the reccomendation.
 
I have this base/hopper I would sell. Except for the holes it looks pretty close to your base. I can see if there's a part number on it. Maybe you can see if you can cross-reference it for fit

The top plate that mounts to the hopper number is IH 621703R3.
If the number on your mount is the same than you know the bottom
will mount up.
