ford 3550 loader attachement

Hello.I have recently purchased a ford 3550 tractor which has a loader and backhoe attachment.
I cant find any info on the web about the loader.The hyd oil has water in it and I want to flush it out and clean it,i don't know what oil or how much to expect. I have a book coming in the mail but still unshore if it is the correct one.Can any body give me any info,i would like to get it sorted so I can use the machine.Im in Australia and cant find anyone who deals with old ford tractors.

I have a 3500 Ford with loader and backhoe. If it sits outside, it too gets water in the hydraulics. I had to flush and replace my fluid a few years
back, and to the best of my memory it was just about 20 gallons of oil. I just used a universal hydraulic fluid, most reasonable in price at my
local farm supply store. No issues at all with using a general oil, cheaper in price.

If they are a Ford loader and backhoe they would have had tags on each giving the "component number" (usually 19-xxx). The tag for the loader was on the inboard side of the left hand (sitting
in the operators position) rear boom attachment upright. The backhoe tag would have been on the swing post support on the left hand (standing behind the unit looking forward). Most Ford
industrial loaders had the filter cartridge attached to the top of the casing bolted to the bottom of the side tube. Go to New Hollands parts web site and look at 730 series loader, that
should be close if not exact.

I found the tags and they are,loader 19-640 and backhoe is 19-389.

19-640 is a 735 series loader made from 1972 to 1980. 19-389 is a 753 series backhoe made from 1965 through 1980 with a 13ft dig to 2ft flat bottom (depending on bucket choice).
