My little winter project this year, bringing some fresh life into the old Hay rake. Not going to be museum quality but will look real nice in the field with a new paint job. [/img]

Finally got pictures to upload, it’s not the old still horse drawn. This one is made to be towed and a 5 bar rake, it spent a lot of time outside before I brought it home. Had to build a place to paint inside, insulated and enclosed to spray inside.

Where are the photos? :) Is it an old horse drawn rake? What's left of our old IH rake is up at the farm somewhere.

The steel wheel IH rake is one I am constantly lookinf for, either good or parts, either 3 bar rake-tedder or 4 bar enclosed gear. Also New Ideas or John Deeres. I rebuild for Amish.

I think this is a 3-bar rake/tedder. Dad pulled this rake with the Farmall Cub until the gear broke. This rake has the one steel wheel in the back and two steel wheels up front. There may be some parts that you could use. I'm in VA the rake is in WV. I assume it is still there.
