Would anybody with access to Deere avaibility and price be able to see if this part is still avaible and about what price should be. Part no. Q 5947 E Clip spring tooth to hold teeth in real on a older hay rake and what do they list for. Avaiblety and price will determine what I can pay for any rake I can find. Without a way to hold the teeth on rake is usuless. But just for parts rakes the amount of these parts still on and they get lost very easy can determine value of the parts rake for rebuilding others. And just too cold to go oit to dealer to find out avaiblity, -15F this morning.

I tried several different ways of entering it in ( large Q, small q, space between } and finally drop the " Q " and entered 5947 and it said it's not availble

I don't know how it came up Q when trying to type G. At least I know now they are still avaible and the price range. I just delt for sight unseen one of these rakes and figure like most it is missing some of these parts. Teeth no problem as I am thinking they are or were @2.25 each and Amish shop I work with has the teeth in stock but as far as they knew last year they were not avaible aftermarket. So if it needs the part to hold the teeth on I know I can get them. I know computor when trying to get directions to get rake it wanted to change what I was trying to put in.

Couple of years ago checking about mccormick they wanted $35 each for them. Old helped me out then.

I had to post on here for months descriptions of a IHC drill part before I had any luck. Id suggest, just as it was suggested to me, to take a pic of the part needed so that anybody who might have them can help you.

Found out new are avaible andI could make something that would work but time consuming. It is just a piece of tin about 2-2.5" by 1.5 inches cut in a funny shape and having a 90* bend. And if I would have a way to post a picture I have no idea how to start.

First thing is my camara, all I know hoe to do to get a picture id take the card out and go to Walmart and with help put it into their machine to get pictures. Don't know if could be connected to computor or not and if could be how to do that.

Key #3 in this parts drawing.

That can tell others what part I think I am going to need. Snow will have to dissaper before I can even go see what I bought over the phone. And for me using the phone making a call is about as terrifing as going to the dentist due to hearing problems they say they cannot help that I have had for years. Don't know if anybody else has hearing problems like that.
