Ford 703 19-97 loader

I haven?t been able to find any info about rebuilding my Hydraulic pump for my loader. It works ok just leaking from the shaft seal. I am going to call NH when they open but thought someone here would have an answer as you guys always do!

Any hydraulic shop or even a bearing house should be able to get you a seal.

I'm not sure which pump you have. My 19-97 originally had a Cessna gear pump (pump might be bigger because I also have 713 backhoe). I used a Chicago Rawhide 7513 shaft seal which is 1.375 OD, 0.75" shaft diameter, and 1/4" deep. Beware that sometimes on a gear pump the bearings can be worn, or the shaft can be worn causing continued leakage or short seal life after replacement. Anyway the answer is to measure up the old seal and match up. References can be found online. Or your NH dealer might have one right off the shelf (the easy way).

Proably wouldn't hurt to get it in Viton. It will take higher heat.
